None of this was on a shelf. Each one started as somebody's idea — a logo file, a photograph, a sketch, a description over the phone — and ended up as a piece of wood on their wall or in their yard. If you are trying to picture what is possible, this is the honest answer.
-
Church medallion, white oak
A congregation's own mark — the cross and the initials — carved into a round oak panel and hung in the entry hall. Cut once, from their logo file.
-
Paul's Barbershop
Name, pole and shears carved into a round oak blank, then painted by hand so the colour sits down in the cut rather than on top of it.
-
Generations Family Dental Care
A practice logo, the dentist's name and their line, engraved into an oval oak panel with the cuts filled in the practice's own purple.
-
St. Clair Shores Fire Dept. crest
The department's crest carved in relief from red oak: the banner, the ship and the lettering all stand up off the face. Shown straight off the machine, before sanding and finish.
-
Warrant officer's plaque
The eagle rising, the rank and the officer's name, carved deep into a dark hardwood round. The insignia is painted; everything else is cut.
-
Victory Worship Center
Raised letters and the church's red V mark mounted on a knotty pine face, framed in white for the sign out front.
-
Cross and two rings
Carved in relief from solid hardwood, with the two rings cut through and passing over one another. Sanded and finished by hand after the machine had done its part.
-
Three symbols on a maple plaque
Three symbols cut into a maple plaque with a scalloped edge, the recesses filled in black so each one reads cleanly from across the room.
-
Bath caddy, maple and walnut
Spans the tub on its own rails, with a slot for a phone, a ring for a cup, a holder for a wine glass and a pocket for a candle. The slats are spaced so it drains and dries between baths.
-
Boat table
A table top for a boat, with four cup holders, two trays and the boat maker's logo set into the top in a lighter wood, under a gloss finish.
-
Campsite sign
A diamond panel for a couple's campsite: their names, a cut-out of their trailer and Joshua 24:15, on a stand that pushes into the ground.
-
House number and family name
A white wood-grain board with the house number and the family name routed in and painted black, in a scalloped shape that matches the plaques.
-
Sasquatch, for a yard
Cut and engraved in one piece, painted, and braced to stand on its own at the edge of the trees. Not everything has to be serious.
-
The Clouds, est. 2026
White neon-style script on a dark wood backer, cut to follow the outline of the lettering and hung on two fine wires.
